Senior Designer

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Senior Designer works closely with the members of the Creative and Strategy Teams. The primary focus will be creating high level content for social media and social media advertising, contributing to brainstorms, and helping achieve client objectives with great creative work. You will also assist on campaigns or projects which may include print materials including: posters, magazine/newspaper ads, collateral, out of home, billboards, etc. Additionally, you will contribute to brainstorms, new business pitches, and support other members of the creative team with your expertise. 

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our clients, ranging from exciting startups to well-established brands. This is an opportunity to unleash your creativity, collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, and contribute to the success of both the agency and our clients.

This position is based in New York City and is a hybrid role. On average there will be weekly in person meetings. This role is for the Truform team (Socialfly’s parent company), and there will be opportunities to collaborate with team members across both companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative Execution:

• Develop and create work of the highest caliber to achieve Client objectives
• Handle all design work per creative briefs (inclusive of graphic design, deck design as well
  as video editing) as needed for assigned accounts.
• Contribute to concepting/brainstorms for your clients that capitalize on social media platform updates and pop culture trends
• Develop original concepts designed to meet clients’ strategic objectives & brand standards
• Stay up-to-date on existing social channels and digital marketing to discover and pitch opportunities for new content concepts for existing clients 
• Understand performance driven creative

Project Management:

• Project manage all owned creative deliverables and be sure that you meet all deadlines
• Manage quick turnaround times & robust volume of content via efficient processes
• Actively contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, excellence and accountability

REQUIREMENTS

• 5-6 years social media/digital creative experience 
• Strong, working experience with Adobe Photoshop, After Effects or Premiere, Figma
• An understanding of digital formats for organic and paid components (platform best practices, etc.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends in design for FB/IG/X/LinkedIn/Pinterest, etc.
• An understanding of best practices for designing print files
• Experience with storyboarding is preferred
• MUST be a strong, self-starter adept at independent problem-solving
• MUST have a can-do and positive attitude 
• Working knowledge for quick, efficient, and accurate use of Adobe Creative Suite 
• Experience working with presentation software such as Google Slides, Keynote and PowerPoint
• Detail oriented + have a strong ability to prioritize work and resources 
• Have excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Strong desire to deliver the best results possible for clients
• Proactive problem solver
• Adaptive and able to remain calm under pressure

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 and is commensurate with experience.
