Product Design Team – London or Stockholm
About the Role
As a Senior Design Manager at Acast, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the experience of our marketplace platform, which connects advertisers with audiences across multiple creator channels. Reporting directly to the VP of Product, you’ll work closely with product and engineering leads to shape the target customer experience across our platform, ensuring it meets both advertiser and creator needs. You will integrate key market insights into strategic design initiatives to foster a cohesive user experience that resonates with both advertisers and creators.
You’ll lead a team of 4-5 passionate designers, provide guidance, encourage growth through regular feedback and coordinate design reviews.
Acast is committed to building a competitive, seamless marketplace platform interface to rival top-tier products like Spotify Ad Studio and TikTok for Creators. Your work will advance our Creator Hub and self-serve ad-buying platform, enhancing audience insights, and monetization features, and uniting these initiatives into a unified marketplace experience.

Your responsibilities will include:
∙ Leading initiatives to enhance our Creator Hub and self-serve ad-buying platform, connecting creators and advertisers seamlessly within a unified marketplace experience.
∙Conducting user research to gather insights, validate design decisions, and ensure solutions are user-centric.
∙Developing and maintaining a comprehensive design system to provide consistency across all products.
∙Coaching and developing your team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and growth.
∙Communicating design strategies to stakeholders, fostering alignment and a shared vision across teams.
Who You Are
You’re a strategic, business-minded design leader with a background in experience design. You are proactive and inspiring, with the ability to keep the bigger picture in mind while empowering your team to thrive. You bring demonstrated skills in managing and mentoring designers, fostering a collaborative environment, and working effectively in hybrid setups.
Furthermore, we think you have:
∙Strong strategic thinking skills to interpret insights and drive experience design forward.
∙Excellent communication skills, allowing you to influence product strategy, convey design concepts and decisions effectively to various stakeholders.
∙An analytical mindset, with proficiency in interpreting user data to make informed design decisions.
∙Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities.
∙A passion for innovation, with a keen interest in current industry trends and a drive to incorporate fresh ideas.
∙Demonstrated track record of managing and mentoring designers
Preferred Qualifications
∙Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
∙Experience: Over 7+ years experience working in Product Design or UX fields, leading design projects or teams and working with executive leaders
∙Desired experience in tech and media sectors, balancing user-centered design with high standards for brand and product coherence.
∙Tools Proficiency: Expertise in research methodology, design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
∙Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of user-centered design projects and leadership in design initiatives.

Where You Will Be
Our team operates on a hybrid model, with opportunities to work remotely or in the office. For this role, we would prefer someone who can be in our London or Stockholm office at least once a week to engage in face-to-face collaboration. Our offices are vibrant hubs where teams come together, ensuring a balance of productivity, creativity, and flexibility. Our core working hours align with the CET time zone to foster collaboration and work-life balance, making it easier for you to work seamlessly with team members across locations.
