Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to lead our creative design initiatives at our North Coast, Egypt location. This is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary leader with 15+ years of design management experience to drive innovation, shape design strategy, and mentor a talented team of designers. In this role, you will be instrumental in establishing design excellence across our organization while fostering a collaborative and creative culture.
- Develop and execute comprehensive design strategies that align with organizational goals and market opportunities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of designers, providing creative direction, constructive feedback, and professional development opportunities
- Oversee the design process from concept through execution, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to brand standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and engineering to deliver cohesive design solutions
- Manage design budgets, timelines, and resources while maintaining flexibility to adapt to evolving project needs
- Establish and maintain design systems, standards, and best practices across all projects
- Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders, effectively communicating design rationale and business value
- Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry innovations to keep the organization competitive
- Conduct design reviews and quality assurance to ensure all deliverables meet organizational standards
- 15+ years of professional experience in design management or senior design roles
- Proven track record of leading design teams and managing creative projects from conception to delivery
- Expert proficiency in design software and tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of design thinking methodology and user-centered design principles
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing design strategies and brand guidelines
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong budget management and resource allocation experience
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for both creative and non-creative audiences
- Knowledge of design systems and component-based design approaches preferred
- Proven ability to mentor and develop junior designers preferred
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments preferred
