The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for undertaking mechanical engineering activities related to Surface Pressure Control (SPC) products and technology.

As Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and Project Engineering for API 6A Products - Surface Wellheads and Trees.

• Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. This work would include mechanical engineering for all products.

• Applies existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems or processes. Viewed internally and externally as a specialist in the discipline.

• Provide technical leadership to personnel/ cross functional teams supporting the assigned project.

• Presents projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders (EB and SEB) within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams.

• Communicates solutions across the own function and with cross-functional partner organizations.

• Mentor and develop early career technical talent.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience Surface Wellhead and Flow Control Equipment (including API 6A equipment).

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

• Creo and Mathcad proficiency.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

• Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

• Product testing and qualification experience (including API 6A PR2F)

• Product support, services, or field services experience.

• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

• Established project management skills.
