The position
As the Senior Demand & Supply Planning Manager, you will lead demand planning and collaborate with Business Units and Finance to establish a sales forecast at material level including work on statistical baseline, analytics and market trends. You will work with Local manufacturing site on supply planning and inventory management. Additionally, you will also focus on business support, reporting and compliance, continues improvement on Demand & Supply Planning performance.
Key responsibility tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the outlier cleansing and history correction process based on the market insights gathered. Identify the appropriate demand planning strategy and r un statistical forecast based on the models and parameters defined by the system - challenge and adjust the parametrization when required. Gather market insights and assumptions to strengthen the statistical forecast and generate a strong and robust commercial forecast.
  • Drive performance management as per KPI trends and deep dives and drive a continuous improvement mindset around processes and systems. Drive the Regional Demand Review with relevant stakeholders e.g. S upply Chain Heads, Business units (BUs), Local manufacturing site (KFA), Regional office, Finance & Operations, and etc. to ensure the Global Sales Forecasting (OMP) is up to date and of the highest possible accuracy.
  • Ensuring timely collaboration for launches of new products & discontinuation of withdrawal products in with relevant stakeholders such as Business Units, KFA and Regulatory and ensuring a regional overview. At the same time, in charge of Demand Planning Tool (OMP solution), together with Global Demand Planning team and drive the implementation of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Reviewing and optimising stock levels in collaboration with KFA in order to secure no stock out situation, ensure adequate local supply to all customers and regularly review inventory policy and key supply parameters together with KFA.
  • Business support: Act as the first point of contact for key stakeholders regarding Demand & Supply Planning activities within the global supply chain. Drive and/or participate in relevant projects, steering committees, task forces, etc. Ensure that documentation related to Demand & Supply Planning is created, stored, and compliant with the Demand & Supply Planning process and global deadlines.


Qualification

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field, along with experience working within an international organization.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management including expertise in demand planning, inventory management and Sales & Operation Planning.
  • Have a good commercial understanding and ability to navigate in complex environment and recommend feasible solutions.
  • Have strong logical , stakeholder management, communication, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Fluent in both English and Japanese at business level in both written and spoken form.
