We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior Decision Science Analyst to join our More Rewards team in Langley, BC.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer Data & Analytics, you will be responsible for leveraging all aspects of data and analytics to drive large-scale projects and continuous experimentation initiatives, guiding decision-making and delivering high-quality insights. In this role, you will support the development and management of customer data and insights using a large and comprehensive dataset to support the More Rewards Loyalty Program, Retail Operations, Marketing and Merchandising.
You will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business questions, processes, and KPIs.
- Formulating testable hypotheses aligned with business questions and conducting statistical experiments in a live environment.
- Writing SQL scripts to automate data pipelines and workflows.
- Using Python scripts in a Jupyter Notebook environment for data analysis, data wrangling, statistical testing, and predictive modeling.
- Mentoring and cross-training data analysts in experimentation best practices and statistical design.
- Developing dashboards and visualizations in Power BI to convey insights and report on KPIs and test results.
- Working in cloud-based analytics environments and with big data tools to build analytics workflows on large datasets.
- Collaborating with IT and Data Scientists to identify technical and data requirements for deploying analytic solutions tailored to business needs.
- Discovering unique and creative insights to identify new opportunities for driving business value.
- Becoming an expert in the relevant datasets within your analytics domain.
You have:
- A degree in a STEM discipline and at least 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics or data science.
- Advanced Python coding skills.
- Advanced understanding of SQL.
- Experience using experimental design principles, such as A/B and multivariate testing, and working with business stakeholders to formulate testable hypotheses.
- Understanding of advanced analytics and data science methods such as anomaly detection, forecasting, and supervised and unsupervised learning.
- Experience with visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Working knowledge of cloud environments such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
- Experience with big data tools such as Spark and Databricks and other programming languages is an asset.

Compensation Details:
$96,443.00 - $120,554.00The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
