This position sits in the Data and Reporting Team within the Telesales area of Sales and reports to the Data and Reporting Manager. 


What you’ll be doing 


To support two key business initiatives within Sales: 1) ScottishPower is in the process of embedding Call Centre Artificial Intelligence (CCAI) within the telesales operation, which requires expertise to design, configure, and operationalise CCAI within a live call centre environment. 2) To support a project to identify and implement new sources of free, internally generated call data for Telesales: Period of time required is 9 months 


ACCOUNTABILITIES


Lead CCAI Implementation — Own the end‑to‑end design, configuration, and operationalisation of Call Centre Artificial Intelligence (CCAI) within the telesales environment, ensuring rapid deployment and measurable commercial impact.


Optimise CCAI Performance — Refine call‑flow logic, and establish monitoring frameworks to maximise sales conversion, agent efficiency, and customer experience.


Integrate CCAI with Sales Operations — Embed AI‑driven insights and workflows into day‑to‑day telesales processes, working closely with Sales leadership, Quality Assurance, and Training teams.


Identify New Internal Call Data Sources — Identify new, zero‑cost data assets that can deliver sales and lower channel capture cost.


Develop Data Pipelines — Oversee the creation of secure, reliable data flows from call‑centre platforms into analytics and reporting environments.


Knowledge Transfer & Handover — Produce documentation, training materials, and handover packs to ensure sustainable ownership post‑contract.

   

What you’ll bring 


Relevant Technology Delivery Experience — Experience supporting the delivery or implementation of technology, data, AI, or automation solutions in an operational environment.


Data and Systems Knowledge — A general understanding of data, reporting, system integration, or process improvement.


Operational Technology Knowledge — Familiarity with call-centre systems, telephony, customer contact platforms, or similar operational technologies.


Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear commercial outcomes for senior stakeholders.


Background in retail energy, telecoms, financial services, or other high‑volume sales environments is advantageous.


Strong organisational skills with the ability to deliver at pace in a live operational environment.
 

Minimum Criteria  


Proven ability to hit the ground running and deliver outcomes within short timescales.


Experience working with call-centre data, telephony systems, or speech analytics.


Ability to work cross‑functionally with technical and non‑technical teams.
