This is a Hybrid position based in Bangalore. You must be within a commutable distance from the location. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis; when not working onsite, you will work remotely from your home location.
About the role:
- You will be a part of Database Engineering team and responsible for database administration for Postgres RDS and No-SQL database management.
- You will be responsible for database design, data architecture, data modeling, performance tuning and capacity planning.
- You will evaluate, configure, and install database management systems.
- You will work closely with architects and peers to resolve application development and production issues.
About You
- 6 to 8 plus years of Database Administration experience with AWS Postgres, NoSQL DBs ( Dynamo DB, Couchbase, Cassandra), SQL Server, and any other database platforms in AWS Environment.
- Good experience in a cloud-based database engineering ecosystem like AWS with IAC skills.
- Understanding of scalable computing systems, data architecture/data modeling, software architecture, database structures, and algorithms.
- Working proficiency in a Linux environment.
- Good database architecture, project management, and communication skills including data analysis and database strategies.
