M9 Solutions is seeking a Senior Database Admin/Engineer - Exadata to work on a government contract for a client located in Annapolis Junction, MD. An active TS/SCI with FSP is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide technology and industry leadership on large and/or more complex IT engagements.
- Lead enterprise-wide solution engagements for high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget.
- Develop an integrated and robust solution based on customer needs combining GOTS, COTS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and third party components.
- Provide subject matter expertise to assist the customer through difficult business decisions.
- Design, configure, and implement all aspects of the full stack architecture, delivering innovative solutions by combining Oracle best practices, knowledge in IT product offerings, and business acumen.
- Recommend enhancements to meet complex customer needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- TS/SCI with FSP security clearance.
- BS in CS or related course of study, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience administering, engineering solutions, and supporting large scale or enterprise level database services with Oracle’s database (10 – current).
- Extensive experience with database design and modeling as well as the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.
- Significant experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery.
- Experience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and/or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills.
