We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who combines deep AI/ML expertise with strong customer engagement skills. This role operates at the intersection of Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Customer Success, partnering directly with enterprise customers to solve complex supply chain challenges through production-ready AI solutions.
What You'll Do
- Partner directly with enterprise customers to understand business challenges, identify AI opportunities, and define solution requirements.
- Lead customer engagements from discovery and solution design through deployment, adoption, and measurable business impact.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers successfully implement and scale AI-driven solutions.
- Present technical concepts, solution recommendations, and business outcomes to audiences ranging from practitioners to executive leadership. AI Solution Development
- Design, build, and deploy scalable machine learning, Generative AI, and agentic AI solutions for real-world supply chain challenges.
- Develop production-ready ML pipelines, AI applications, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and adapt state-of-the-art techniques to customer and product needs.
- Ensure solutions balance technical excellence, scalability, and business value. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Sales, and Customer Success teams to deliver customer outcomes.
- Influence product strategy by bringing customer insights, implementation learnings, and industry trends back into the organization.
- Mentor team members and contribute to best practices in AI solution development and deployment.
What You'll Bring
- BE/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.
- Experience working directly with customers, stakeholders, or business teams to define and deliver technical solutions.
- Strong foundation in machine learning, statistical modeling, experimentation, and data science methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, agentic systems, RAG architectures, and model evaluation techniques.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, object-oriented programming, and modern software development practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive outcomes independently, and balance technical depth with business impact.
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Experience in a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, or customer-facing AI role.
- Supply chain domain expertise.
- Experience building and deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with Databricks, Apache Spark, and distributed data processing frameworks.
- Experience with vector databases, open-source LLMs, model fine-tuning, and secure AI deployments.
- Experience with graph analytics, graph databases (Neo4j, NetworkX, GraphX), and Graph Neural Networks.
- Experience applying NLP techniques to large-scale text processing and data normalization challenges.
- Proficiency with Python-based application frameworks such as Flask, Django, or Streamlit.
