Your Responsibilities
- Generate data-driven Insights: Perform in-depth data analyses to understand customer behavior, market dynamics and price elasticity, as well as the impact of various parameters on prices and demand, delivering actionable insights.
- Build and validate proof-of-concepts: Develop POCs for innovative pricing strategies, test and validate their impact.
- Design and own advanced pricing algorithms: Create and maintain pricing models using machine learning and optimization techniques to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
- Shape and evolve pricing strategy: Leverage your pricing expertise to refine and enhance FINN’s pricing strategy, ensuring alignment with market trends and business objectives.
- Collaborate: Partner with other data and tech teams as well as business stakeholders in a cross-functional team and align your work with business objectives.
Your Profile
- Graduating with a Master’s degree in a relevant data field of study, PhD is a plus.
- 3+ years of professional experience in e-commerce (preferably car subscription/leasing, rental, airline, hotel)
- Proven track record in data and time-series analysis, statistical modelling and implementing forecasting and optimization models from scratch
- Extended knowledge in SQL, Python, Spark, GCP
- Experience in E2E implementation of pricing strategies and building POCs
- Skilled at presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences, including C-level.
- Proficient in documenting methodologies, processes, and model assumptions.
- Exceptional ability to break down complex problems and develop data-driven solutions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
- Fluent in English. German is a plus.
