The Opportunity
Test, maintain, and enhance our marketing strategies across numerous distribution channels. Expand and diversify Root’s direct marketing portfolio by shepherding new mid-upper funnel channels from R&D to production. Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on novel marketing strategies in the mid and upper funnel. Design time- and cost-efficient A/B tests that enable rigorous measurement of the incremental profit impact of marketing campaigns. Deliver clear and prompt communication of research results that drive action to leaders and stakeholders.
Telecommuting is permitted within the U.S.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm EST
Salary Range: $157,500 - $189,000 per year
Root is a “work where it works best” company. Meaning we will support you working in whatever location that works best for you across the US. We will continue to have our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Less than 5% domestic travel required to Columbus, OH for company training/conference events.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- 3 years of experience in Analytics
- Master’s degree in Analytics Data Science or closely related field
- Developing targeted, data-driven marketing strategies and deploying them on DSPs such as The Trade Desk, DV360, or Meta.
- Create and deploy machine learning targeting models for social, video, display, and/or email campaigns.
- Design and implement A/B tests to measure the incremental lift of new campaigns.
- Experience using modern packages in Python or R.
- Experience with AWS utilities or EC2, or SageMaker, or S3, or Athena.
- Utilize version control (e.g. Git).
- Experience in databases and SQL.
