About the role
We are looking for a data scientist that will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions in solving pricing problems. Your primary focus will be on applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high-quality prediction systems integrated with our products.
You will be someone that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, with a hands-on attitude and a data-driven mindset, sharing fresh ideas for how to improve profitability.
What you will do!!
- Use data to create new, scalable solutions for business pricing problems.
- Design experiments, measure results and provide a point of view in decision-making.
- Develop and implement advanced analytics and machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of data used for analysis and modeling.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data science and machine learning.
- Oversee the deployment of machine learning models into production environments.
- Maintain documentation of data science processes and methodologies.
Who you are!!
- 4 to 5 years in a data science role
- Strong drive to learn, experiment, and drive outcomes.
- Strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with building custom deep learning models (using pytorch).
- Experience with optimization, routing and task assignment problems.
- Experience with building web API interfaces to serve Data Science model through Flask or FastAPI is a PLUS.
- Experience with Google Big Query, and Vertex API is a plus.
- Advanced SQL Experience, ability to query complex data correctly and efficiently.
- Excellent knowledge of data wrangling and preprocessing techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- A proactive and innovative mindset, with a strong attention to detail.
- Having an automotive background is a PLUS.
