SciPlay is a leading developer and publisher of digital games on mobile and web platforms, providing highly entertaining free-to-play games that millions of people play every day. The Senior Data Product Manager will play a highly important role in the Central Analytics department, that serves as a multi-functional cross team hub and provides company-wide analytics solutions, processes, insights, standardization and guidance.
As a Data PM on Central Analytics, you will be at the intersection of analytics, product management and game development projects providing solutions to problems that scale across SciPlay's portfolio of games.
You will have the opportunity to take on high-impact projects by working with a team of talented Analytics Engineers and owning the data product lifecycle. You will lead the development of innovative data-driven tools for analyst and non-analyst stakeholders, standardizing company-wide data tracking and infrastructure, and championing improvements to analytical processes across SciPlay that drive data-informed decision making leading to improved player experiences in our games.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the full product lifecycle on Central Analytics : specifications, quality assurance, adoption, stakeholder education & training , feedback cycle and product roadmap


  • Effective ly learn and understand existing and emerging analytical processes to be regarded as an expert among peers


  • Clear communication of deliverables, dependencies and outcomes with the capability to discuss the details of every project in depth to both technical and non-technical audiences


  • D efine data-driven solutions to complex problems for a wide array of stakeholders operating our business , while managing the resources required for each in an effective and efficient manner


  • Estimate the impact each solution will have on our business to inform prioritization in our product roadmap and define methodology to measure their progress and success


  • Apply your technical skills to independently prove the value of new data-driven tools or processes to our business through detailed ad-hoc analysis and dashboarding


  • Develop and coordinate cross-company standardization regarding analytics infrastructure, knowledge, game team alignment, and analytical processes


  • Manage a knowledge base of high-quality documentation and training materials for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and lead presentations and training sessions


  • Independently own and lead multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, results-oriented environment


  • Champion data literacy within the organization bridging gaps between game team analytics departments


  • Achieve a comprehensive understanding of our business as a whole and internal processes specific to the Analytics o rg


  • Actively identify company-level needs , constraints and opportunities


  • Assume responsibility for alignment of cross-team s' tracking, reports, and documentation


  • Work closely with various stakeholders across multiple game teams through ongoing communication


  • Actively play our games and proactively monitor the analytical needs of game teams


  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan while consistently providing project updates to various stakeholders


Qualifications

  • 4+ years of product management or analytical experience with a track record of shipping high-impact data-driven solutions and tools , preferably within the gaming or mobile app in dustry


  • Strong understanding and track record applying analytical technologies like: SQL, Python, Tableau, Databricks and Excel in a big-data environment


  • Healthy experience using Jira , PowerPoint, Lucidchart and other PM tools


  • Breadth of knowledge in applied statistics and data science


  • Excellent communication skills, self-learner, multi-tasking, able to work independently, proactive, highly organized, "can-do" a ttitude and a problem-solving mind set


  • Outstanding attention to detail, analy sis skills and critical, business, strategic thinking


  • Passion for the gaming industry


  • Fluent English - both written and verbal


  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field: Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineeri ng, Computer Science, Data Science, Business
