In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in delivering data and automation-centric customer engagements, collaborating with both management and engineering-level customer resources as well as coordinating activities performed by a consulting project team. You will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of complex advertising and customer segmentation data, and therefore experience with advertising targeting use cases is a plus.

The technology stack that you’ll be working with includes AWS (S3, Athena, etc), Databricks, Snowflake, Looker, and more.

This is an on-site, full-time position based in our Philadelphia office. The annual base salary is $175,000 - $185,000. Candidates will be paid within this range based on their work experience and skills. Candidates are also eligible for our full list of benefits linked here.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a customer point of contact driving engagement and documentation of customer “as-is” processes and architecture related to in-scope project use cases. This includes data, its sources, structure and tooling, outputs, interaction between teams, and flow to produce outcomes supporting given use cases.
  • Drive cross-team workshops as necessary in support of use case objectives and successful outcomes; lead and participate as required in client priority needs during the term of engagements.
  • Demonstrate leadership in collaboration across client teams in an execution role responsible for:
      • Analysis of current state processes, tooling, and data flows to define inefficiencies and identify and document areas for improvement.
      • Ensure data quality, consistency, and lineage of source system data for each use case.
      • Provide actionable recommendations for automation improvement of data processes and workflows.
      • Produce and provide a rationale for prioritization of recommendations for process and improvement.
  • Deliver best practice recommendations for automation and data process improvement through familiarity with data use for AI, data lakes/lake house type concepts, data federation, and other concepts driving client process transformation and improvement road development.
  • Bring existing expertise and evaluate net new tooling where relevant to include in recommended client improvements.
  • Lead consulting team execution of specific customer data-producing use cases both to deliver necessary customer data outcomes as the result of project delivery requirements, as well as to gain a deeper customer's current state understanding.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and corporate data management is considered during use case development.
  • Update business, functional, and technical specifications for client requirements documents based on use case execution.
  • Lead hands-on development, POC, or demonstration of improvement recommendations; lead transition of these to production as needed.
  • Ensure actions taken in the execution of client projects are consistent with client business and organizational goals and defined for the project.
  • Provide weekly status reporting and client presentations using client-preferred templates and tools.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring for more junior team members.

Qualifications

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Equivalent with enterprise client experience.
