About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer for a full-time, permanent role based in Melbourne, Australia, on a hybrid work setup, to support the design and delivery of enterprise-grade data solutions within a complex and large-scale environment, where you’ll work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with both technical and business teams to unlock the value of data.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- 8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Data Lake)
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL
- Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) is a plus
- Proven experience working in large-scale, complex environments
- Experience in a consulting environment or client-facing roles would be an advantage
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
