What will you do?

You’ll be the driving force behind migrating our on-premises and SharePoint-based data infrastructure to AWS. This isn’t just a technical migration—it’s a full-scale modernization project where your decisions will define how data powers the business.

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Lead the migration strategy: Design and execute the move to AWS Data Analytics Platform (DAP) with zero disruption to ongoing operations.

• Re-engineer workflows: Transform Python scripts and UiPath automations into AWS-native solutions using SageMaker and Glue.

• Build robust pipelines: Create scalable ETL processes and data pipelines that integrate multiple sources like HRPS, Gateway, SharePoint, and more.

• Modernize dashboards: Migrate Tableau dashboards to AWS QuickSight while preserving functionality and user experience.

• Enable seamless access: Ensure HR officers and stakeholders can easily use dashboards and analytics in the new AWS environment.

• Document and train: Produce clear documentation and deliver training sessions so teams can confidently adopt the new systems.

• AWS Expertise: Hands-on experience with SageMaker, QuickSight, Athena, Lambda, and serverless architecture.

• Infrastructure-as-Code: Proficiency in CloudFormation, YAML/JSON templates, and automated provisioning.

• Programming & Automation: Strong Python skills and experience with UiPath and Lambda for automation.

• Data Visualization: Ability to design dashboards in Tableau and QuickSight, plus knowledge of ETL and data pipeline design.

• DevOps Mindset: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, Nexus Repo, and infrastructure change management.

• Communication Skills: Strong technical writing and the ability to deliver training effectively.

Required Skills:

1. AWS Services

• Extensive experience with AWS services (SageMaker, QuickSight, Athena, Lambda, data pipelines).

• Experience using AWS services in Python and Command Line Interface

• Proficiency in serverless architecture design and Lambda function development.

2. Infrastructure as Code (IaaC)

• Experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (eg. CloudFormation, YAML, JSON infrastructure scripts)

• Lambda function provisioning and management through IaaC templates

• Integration of serverless components with traditional infrastructure resources

3. Programming and Automation Skills

• Proficiency in Python programming and UiPath automation

• Experience developing and deploying Lambda functions for data processing and automation

• Understanding of event-driven architecture and serverless computing patterns

4. Data Visualisation and Analytics

• Strong background in Tableau and QuickSight dashboard development

• Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline design

• Knowledge of serverless data processing workflows using Lambda

5. DevOps and Collaboration

• Experience working with DevOps stack (eg. Ship-hats, GitLab, Nexus Repo etc)

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for both application code and infrastructure deployment

• Experience with infrastructure change management including security groups and network ACLs
