As a Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building and optimizing data solutions that empower businesses. From creating powerful ETL/ELT pipelines to ensuring data quality and performance, you’ll collaborate with talented colleagues and work with cutting-edge technologies like Databricks, dbt, and Azure services. Your work will directly influence how companies use data to make smarter decisions.
How your day will look like 🌅
- Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines from SAP S/4, Salesforce, ByDesign, and others.
- Turn raw data into useful insights through transformation processes.
- Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and always available.
- Optimize environments for better speed and lower costs.
- Help domain teams build and manage their own pipelines.
Your profile 🏄
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
- Deep knowledge of Azure Databricks with Spark and PySpark.
- Experience with cluster tuning and integration with Data Lake and Delta Lake.
- Strong skills in dbt Core for SQL models, tests, and documentation.
- Experience with pipeline orchestration using Databricks Jobs and Azure Data Factory.
- Ability to handle incremental loads and fine-tune performance.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub CI/CD workflows.
- Solid understanding of Azure services and ecosystem.
- Knowledge of data governance, schema enforcement, and lineage.
- Clear communicator and collaborative team player.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
- Strong communication skills in English. German or French would be a plus.
- EU citizen or valid Spanish work visa.
