YOUR POSITION:

SENIOR DATA ENGINEER

YOUR ROLE:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner with data engineers, analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to build and continuously evolve data platforms and processes.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines (batch and streaming) to support analytics, machine learning, and operational workloads.
• Define and enforce data engineering best practices and standards to ensure high levels of data reliability, performance, and quality.
• Research, prototype, and adopt modern data engineering tools and methodologies to improve data infrastructure.
• Continuously optimize ETL pipelines for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Lead the architecture of core data systems, such as real-time data pipelines, ML model serving infrastructure, and feature store.
• Proactively identify technical and process improvements and drive them from idea to execution.
• Design and evolve dimensional data models to enable intuitive, performant analytics and reporting.
• Contribute to the mentorship and technical growth of the data engineering team.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in architecting and building data solutions.
• Knowledge about state-of-the-art data architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with data streaming technologies.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Passion about what you do.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and interface with business and engineering.
• Good project management skills and a strong sense of ownership.
• Having a startup mindset.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

• Experience with Kafka or Kinesis.
• Experience with feature stores.
• Experience within the Financial Services industry.
