We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our growing team. This role will focus on data transformation, modelling, and developing analytical solutions to improve customer insights and business outcomes.
You will be working with large datasets, driving key metrics like Customer Lifetime Value and Churn, and transforming business needs into high-quality data solutions directly with our customers.
Key responsibilities & duties include:
- Lead data transformation and data modelling efforts to support business insights
- Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure smooth data integration across systems
- Work with Snowflake to manage and optimize our data architecture
- Perform analysis on customer behaviours, using coding and data analysis techniques to identify opportunities that enhance partnerships
- Define and develop descriptive and predictive models for key customer metrics, such as Customer Lifetime Value and Churn, to ensure the business's long-term success
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to turn business requirements into scalable, high-quality data solutions
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and reporting
- Utilize Python for data processing, modelling, and automation tasks
- Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills
Required skills:
- Proven experience in data transformation and data modelling
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools for data integration
- Proficiency in Snowflake
- Demonstrated experience in analysing customer behaviours, using coding and data techniques to derive insights
- Strong ability to define and develop key customer metrics like Customer Lifetime Value and Churn
- Advanced SQL skills for data querying, analysis, and reporting
- Experience in Python for data analysis and automation
- Strong analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent English language communication and collaboration skills
