Job Type: Full Time
- SQL Querying - Write complex and efficient SQL queries
- Design, develop, and maintain models, pipelines and transformations with GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, DBT, Cloud Storage etc) and Apache Kafka Connect.
- Good at scripting in Sql, bash, python, terraform, java etc.
- Fluent with source control tools like git + github
- Built automated regressions tests, integrated with CI/CD, that validate the requirements are met e.g. cucumber.
- Good understanding of architecture/Systems thinking with cloud native principles
- Proactive at using metrics to inform performance optimisations.
- Able to listen, reflect and respect the views of others as well as being able to communicate your own opinion appropriately.
- Passionate about driving a modern and inclusive working culture

Location and Hybrid working
The role is based in London with some travel to the other two locations. You should expect to be in office at least two days per week with home-working available for the remaining days.
Skills Required
- 9–15 years of experience
- Complex SQL querying
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining data models, pipelines, and transformations
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage
- Experience with dbt
- Experience with Apache Kafka Connect
- Scripting with SQL, Bash, Python, Terraform, and Java
- Source control experience with Git and GitHub
- Building automated regression tests and integrating them with CI/CD
- Experience with Cucumber
- Understanding of systems architecture and cloud-native principles
- Ability to use metrics for performance optimization
- Effective collaboration and communication skills
