We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to work on a project in management consulting.

You will be part of a distributed team developing new technologies to solve real business problems. Our client is a global consultancy whose aim is to unlock better growth that drives measurable revenue and profit for their clients. They achieve this by optimizing every level of their client's commercial strategy – product, price, innovation, marketing, and sales – based on deep insights into what customers want and value.
We are looking for someone with good communication skills, ideally with experience making decisions, being proactive, used to building software from scratch, and with good attention to detail.
What you will do:
- Designing and building robust data solutions that support strategic business initiatives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and optimize data pipelines.
- Ensuring the quality, security, and scalability of the systems developed.
- Contributing to the overall architecture and development lifecycle.
What you will bring:
- Proficient in Java with Spring Boot, capable of building scalable and maintainable backend services.
- Hands-on experience with Python, particularly using PySpark and DataFrame APIs for data processing and transformation.
- Working knowledge of Angular; familiarity with React is considered a plus.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL (RDS). Exposure to hybrid architectures involving document databases (e.g., MongoDB) or in-memory data stores such as Redis.
Nice to have:
- Experience with AWS Glue for serverless data integration and ETL workflows.
- Proven ability to manage long-running data processes on AWS.
- Understanding of serverless architecture patterns and their practical applications.
- Experience working with large-scale data processing pipelines and optimizing their performance.
- Knowledge of system integration workflows, including managing input and output flows with external client systems.
