About the Role:
We are seeking Senior Data Engineers passionate about integrating data with emerging technologies. As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll lead significant transformations for our global financial services clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack technical solutions.
- Work alongside developers with expertise in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems.
- Utilize languages like Java, Scala, Python, and technologies such as RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and cloud-based data warehousing services like Databricks, Redshift, and Snowflake.
- Perform unit tests and code reviews to ensure robust, well-tuned solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in application development (Python, SQL, Scala, Java).
- 5+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- 3+ years of experience with distributed data/computing tools (e.g., MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, MySQL).
- 3+ years of experience with real-time data and streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ).
- 3+ years of experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- 3+ years of experience with data platforms like Databricks.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and UNIX/Linux, including basic commands and shell scripting.
