What you’ll do & Who you are
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer (d/f/m) to build and manage our data platform on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, extensive experience with AWS services, and a passion for developing scalable, robust, and efficient data systems. This role will be critical in driving our data strategy and ensuring seamless data operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain a scalable and reliable data platform on AWS.
- Architect and implement data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, process, and store large volumes of data from various sources.
- Optimize and manage AWS resources, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of cloud services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through the implementation of robust data validation and monitoring processes.
- Develop and enforce data security and compliance standards in alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and lead junior data engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and AWS technologies, recommending improvements and innovations.
