The Role

Position: Senior Data Analyst

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support our operational reporting and analytics efforts. The ideal candidate will leverage data to create insights, statistical analysis, and advanced visualizations to solve business challenges, driving informed decision-making and process optimization across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, uncovering business insights that lead to enhanced operations and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize data and statistical methods to analyze complex business problems, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, ensuring clarity and effectiveness.

• Partner with various internal teams to drive operational improvements, helping to prioritize and implement changes based on data findings.

• Design, develop, and automate ETL processes in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Perform SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational and transactional data models.

• Use Python or R to develop statistical models and perform advanced data analysis.

• Effectively communicate findings through clear and concise reports, both written and verbal, tailored to various audiences.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and delivery.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with business intelligence platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight).

• Hands-on experience in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Proficient in SQL for data querying and manipulation.

• Experience with ETL pipelines in cloud-based environments.

• Programming skills in Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling.

• Familiarity with relational and transactional data models.

• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and its applications to business operations.

• Proficient in Excel

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a digestible manner.

• Problem-solving mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes.

• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively across departments.
