ROLE OVERVIEW: 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on defining and obtaining source data, performing data mapping and lineage, and supporting data migration efforts. You will play a key role in delivering insights, managing data pipelines, and ensuring data quality across financial services projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and source data for actionable insights and use cases.
  • Perform data mapping to link datasets across multiple sources and destinations.
  • Conduct data lineage assessments and evaluate data quality to support migrations.
  • Identify and report data gaps, enabling stakeholder reviews and feedback.
  • Propose and assist in processing suitable data migration sets for program workstreams.
  • Collaborate on planning, tracking, and coordinating data migration and pipeline development activities.

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Must-Have Skills:

  • Extensive experience as a Data Analyst within the Financial Services sector.
  • Proficiency in data models, dictionaries, and analysis in Banking and Financial Markets.
  • Expertise in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of Agile project methodologies with experience applying them in real-world scenarios.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven team player.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with Data Management, Data Architecture, and Data Governance.
  • Experience working on big data programs and tools like Hive, CMD, and Putty.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries and navigating databases.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and formal Agile processes.
