We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to drive data-informed decision-making across our studio. You'll be at the intersection of engineering, analytics, and strategy. Working hands-on at all layers of the stack to turn player data into insights that shape the direction of our games and business.
Responsibilities- Oversee the entire data pipeline from instrumentation to presentation
- Work directly with departments and senior leadership to decide what to gather and how to analyze it
- Identify KPIs around engagement, retention, and churn, and design pipelines to collect them
- Own the databases: schema, performance, health
- Be hands-on with the ETL pipelines and the infrastructure supporting it
- Automate reporting and create dashboards for a variety of audiences
- Play the game
Requirements
- 5+ years in a data analyst or analytics engineering role
- Strong SQL skills: querying, structuring schemas, tuning performance
- Strong skills in the languages of your choice for backend and analysis: Python, R, Java, etc
- Real world experience building and owning ETL processes
- Statistical modeling depth: regression analysis, hypothesis testing, predictive models, confidence and error
- Comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-starter energy — you can juggle priorities, work across teams, and figure things out without a lot of hand-holding
- Games industry experience, especially large multiplayer games
- Professional background in Unreal and C++
- Experience with a JVM language for backend work
- Snowflake or other columnar databases like Redshift

The estimated base pay range for this role is: USD $100,000 - $140,000
