What you'll do...
The Senior Data Analyst – Reverse Logistics will provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships, identifying business needs, and carrying out processes and practices.
The role is in person (5 days a week) based out of Walmart Home Office - Bentonville, Arkansas (not open to remote candidates) and will report to Director – IB/OB Transportation Optimization
What you’ll do….
Business Partnerships:
-
Understand the different Reverse Logistics business system and processes. Recommend senior leadership and provide insights on converging the gaps between different teams

Identify and focus key areas of business stakeholders to provide process flow map and outline ownership for each stakeholder teams

Prepare initial presentation to communicate strategic recommendations based on research and data analysis.

Review the findings based on the feedback received from partners and provide insights targeted to specific audience
Data Collection and Analysis:
-
In depth understanding of building data pipelines, data lakes etc in addition to being knowledgeable in SQL, Python and Tableau

Address business problems by understanding the data source’s location, integrate the data, perform subsequent analysis using SQL, Python and subsequently visualize the findings on a Tableau dashboard.

Develop processes for the team so they can monitor and flag any outliers that the data represents.

Conduct exploratory analysis and inform team and counterparts of the findings.
Model Development:

Build, manage and optimize parts of algorithmic products/models and ensure segment aligns with overall product goals after verification with the existing tools.

Use the existing Walmart tools to verify the findings and run the simulations to test the thesis.

Develop and implement algorithms for data analysis and modeling.
Proof of Concept and Testing:

Deploy and Monitor the impact when testing and implementing

Lead the pilot program. Understand the gaps and provide solution for implementations across network
-
Assist leadership and lead as needed to scale the program across network

Partner with stakeholders such as Business, Software Engineering, Data Science and Operation teams

Generate new ideas as an output of research, apply knowledge to come up with new information, and contribute to proof-of-concepts for projects.
Data Quality Management:

Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.

Monitor data quality metrics and proactively identify and address issues.

Minimum Qualifications:
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 3 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
Option 2: Master’s degree in Supply chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 1.5 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
Option 3: 5 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, or relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics related field or master’s degree in supply chain, Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics or relevant field with 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Data analytics related.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
