This position has a hybrid schedule based in our Seattle office.
Major Goals:
- Support company OKRs and initiatives by collaborating with product owners/managers, SMEs, legal, engineers, and other partners across the entire organization to ensure user observability.
- Informs product, design, engineering and monetization by connecting data insights with broader business goals during product evaluations.
- Diplomatically help drive impactful revenue, user engagement, user acquisition, and observability initiatives while collaborating with other analysts, developers, designers, researchers, product managers, stakeholders, and partners across the organization.
- Prioritize and balance multiple data analysis workstreams efficiently, provide data-driven insights to stakeholders.
- Possess a mastery in locating specific data within Sinclair’s various data systems.
- Mastery in visualizing data to for clear communication of business-critical information.
- Own data validation efforts, verifying accuracy of collected data by either or both human and artificial agents.

Data Analysis:
- Pursue evidence-based data excellence.
- Extract data, create reports, and provide sound business recommendations to company leaders related to multiple business lines, with an emphasis on programmatic advertising.
- Use data insights to help improve user journeys, customer acquisition, email marketing, consumer engagement, and monetization efforts.
- Build data reports and audience segments as required for the company’s diverse multiplatform portfolio in News, Entertainment and Sports.
- Collect and analyze data using multiple platforms and tools, including Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, Cognos, Databricks, Looker Studio and Tableau.
- Analyze and interpret data to determine patterns, optimizations, correlations, revenue opportunities, track campaign performance, programmatic advertising performance and more for Sinclair’s Digital operations across local TV news stations, streaming products, The Tennis Channel, The National Desk, and other company divisions.
- Leverage large data sets, while minding the cost, to find usable information and create visualizations for different personas and audiences that lead to activation, execution and revenue opportunities.
- Promote and maintain organized and effective documentation and organization methods utilizing approved company software and data privacy practices.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $88,000 to $117,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
