Senior Data Analyst (GA4)

The Group has expanded its publishing brands to a wider scope, encompassing Hypebeast and its multiple content distribution platforms, creative agency Hypemaker, e-commerce and retail platform HBX, distribution and merchandising segment Hyperoom and food and beverage destination Hypebeans.

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to drive data-informed decision-making and help shape our digital growth strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with departments to define key analytics questions, identify meaningful metrics, and ensure robust measurement methods.
• Analyse complex data sets—transactional, web, and behavioural—using GA4 to uncover trends and insights.
• Apply segmentation and data mining techniques to inform strategy, optimising growth funnels and audience engagement.
• Translate data insights into actionable recommendations, delivering visual reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Maintain and update performance dashboards, ensuring teams have access to real-time data insights.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in retail or e-commerce data analysis.
• Expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with a strong understanding of growth funnels, acquisition, and marketing attribution.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for advanced data analysis.
• Experience with advertising tools like AdWords, Facebook Ads, and GDN.
• Advanced skills in data visualisation tools such as Google Data Studio
• Knowledge of DMP or CDP platforms preferred.
• Familiarity with Chinese social media platforms (WeChat, Weibo, Douyin) is a plus.
• Strong ownership mentality, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
