As a Senior Data Analyst within User Growth Analytics, you’ll use some of the most robust site and app traffic data in the world to answer questions that drive key business decisions across product growth. You will be the expert on Redfin traffic analytics, with a primary focus on Conversational Search. You will dive deep into user engagement patterns relative to classic search experiences, define and measure key performance metrics, partner with PMs to identify opportunities and issues, and contribute to the overall user growth strategy. 

The Role

  • Be a subject matter expert on Redfin’s traffic analytics.

  • Own analysis and metrics reporting for Conversational Search and classic search.

  • Leverage your analytical expertise to deliver simple answers to complex, ambiguous questions. 

  • Synthesize your analysis and others into a coherent narrative of the state of the business and communicate that narrative to business leaders. 

  • Develop outcome metrics and conduct experimentation analyses to support A/B tests.

Skills & Experience 

  •  Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, or a related field is required. An advanced degree is a plus.

  • 5+ years working in an analytical role in a business context is required. Experience in web/app traffic analytics and search analytics is strongly desired. 

  • Expert-level SQL, Excel and Data Visualization skills are required. Expertise with Tableau, Python for ETL, A/B test evaluation, and statistical analysis is desired.

  • Expertise with Google Analytics 4, Big Query data and Google Tag Manager is desired.

  • Expertise using AI code generation tools such as Snowflake Intelligence and Github CoPilot is strongly desired.

  • Strong background in cross functional collaborations and being able to bring disparate groups together and build consensus

  • Brilliant skills in data storytelling with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and effectively (both written and verbal) to less technical audience

  • Possessing a curiosity that doesn’t stop at the “What?” but hungers for the “Why?” and “What if?”

Base Pay Range: $98,700.00 - 147,800.00.

The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives, and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K retirement plan, and paid time off.
