Job Responsibilities :
A senior cybersecurity role focusing on offensive security in Kuala Lumpur involves leading efforts to identify and mitigate potential security threats through proactive measures. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, advanced technical skills, and the ability to manage complex security projects.Key Responsibilities:
- Penetration Testing: Conduct regular penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities in systems, networks, and applications.
- Red Team Exercises: Lead red team exercises to simulate cyber-attacks and assess the organization's security posture.
- Threat Hunting: Proactively search for and identify potential threats within the network.
- Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans to address security breaches.
- Security Assessments: Perform comprehensive security assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in offensive security.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on offensive security.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite), strong understanding of network protocols, and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) are highly desirable.
