Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Cyber Intelligence Analyst to join our team! This position offers the opportunity for an energetic and motivated candidate to join a dynamic and growing team that solves our customer’s unique mission needs.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Serve as a Cyber Operations support technician leading a team of 4 for customers with the ability to respond to basic and advanced requests quickly and accurately.
- Ensure that the team monitors availability, performance of application and infrastructure services hosted in the cloud
- Ensure that the team monitors scheduled jobs and resolves issues by using predefined procedures.
- Initiate incidents and involve any necessary parties for immediate solution of problems.
- Manage incidents according to the incident management process and the escalation matrix. Follow SLAs for communications, responses, and schedules.
- Develop and enhance procedures to be used within the NOC. Document issues, build services reports, and maintain other NOC-specific documentation.
- Manage online databases and operate web-based tools in support of the customer.
- Establish and maintain the process of safe and practical identity management in support of the customer.
- Identify new operational security technology, techniques and best practices and give guidance to affect required operational goals and decisions.
- Support the customer by leveraging access to PAI research through effective measures of digital security and Identity Management.
- Update and analyze complex data sets.
- Able to successfully use and manage multiple online databases in support of the mission.
- Assist in the preparation of documents such as Operations Guidance and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Contribute to senior briefing materials and participate in meetings and briefings related to identifying courses of action and best practices.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelors Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, National Security, Social Media Marketing, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of related experience preferred.
- Cybersecurity education or training. Certifications preferred
- Must have a current Top Secret with SCI eligibility
- Certified through BlackHorse Solution’s Commercial Signature Reduction (CSR) and Cyber Advanced Support Operations (CASO) training. This may be completed immediately after hire.
- Experience with DoD programs, policies, and procedures regarding Open-Source research.
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
- Open-minded, proactive as opposed to reactive, self-motivation and ownership.
- Willing to self-improvement and continuous learning.
- Excellent organization, coordination and strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work in teams, as well as independently are required.
- Strong attention to details.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- TS/SCI security clearance preferred.
- Familiarity with Identity Management and Social Media platforms including experience and knowledge regarding each platform’s digital security vulnerabilities, use of customer data, etc.
- Cyber operations experience
- Experience with a wide range of PAI research
