We’re looking for a Senior Customer Integration QA Engineer to join our growing team in Korea. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring seamless software integration and world-class quality for some of the most advanced Software-Defined Vehicle programs in the industry. You’ll collaborate closely with global engineering teams and leading automakers to validate and optimize next-generation automotive software systems, helping deliver the intelligent, connected vehicles of the future. This role requires you to work in a hybrid setup from our local office and reports to the Customer Integration QA Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Define Testing Strategy: Collaborate with product, development, and other teams across the company to define testing strategies for challenging and innovative projects.
  • Develop & Execute Tests: Develop detailed test plans based on specifications and execute test cases via a combination of automation or manual testing.
  • Issue Management & Reproduction: Triage integration issues reported by partners and field problems reported during real vehicle testing on time. Reproduce problems in-house and assist the development team in identifying the root cause and solutions.
  • Release Gatekeeper: Act as the gatekeeper of each release, representing the voice of customers and providing constructive feedback.
  • Identify Improvements: Identify areas of improvement in test coverage, methodology, and provide concrete suggestions.
  • Track Progress: Track all necessary testing activities, including schedule, resources, requirements, defects, and resolution, to ensure clear alignment across key stakeholders.
  • Issue Escalation: Escalate potential issues (Software, Hardware, Resources) to the Project Manager / Executive team.
  • On-site Support: Support major test events with partners on site.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Education/Experience: Minimum a Bachelor’s degree (Master's preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields with 5–8 years of working experience in the automotive industry, networking, security, embedded software in data centers, or cloud services field.
  • SW Process Knowledge: Well-versed in the software development processes of embedded products.
  • Test Strategy & Planning: Review and critique product requirement specifications, design, and functional specifications; define test strategy; and develop detailed end-to-end solution test plans and test cases.
  • Scripting/Automation: Ability to develop, review, and modify Python scripts to enhance test coverage.
  • Test Automation Tools: Familiarity with common test frameworks such as PyTest, Playwright, Behave, or similar.
  • OS/Scripting: Proficiency with the Linux command line and skill in shell scripting / Python coding.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    • A solid understanding of automotive networking infrastructure (including the transition and transformation from LIN, CAN, CAN FD to Ethernet, and how different ECUs work together within a vehicle).
    • Strong networking fundamentals, coupled with cybersecurity experience.
    • Experience with Cloud Data Center related systems is a plus.
  • Specific Testing Tool Usage:
    • Experience in using different test tools: Vector CANoe, VehicleSpy, PEAK, Spirent, IXIA, or similar products.
  • Development Process Tool Usage:
    • Experience with Jama, TestRail, JIRA as Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.
    • Experience with Jenkins as a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tool.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills (English proficiency required). Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and manage partner expectations clearly.
  • Conflict Resolution skills: Ability to mediate and resolve interpersonal conflicts constructively.
Preferred Knowledge and Experience
  • Automotive Standards: Experience in automotive design review and audit processes, such as ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, or ASIL standards is a plus.
  • Code Analysis Tools: Experience with Static/Dynamic analysis tools: Polyspace, Blackduck, Codesonar, or similar products.
  • Test Environment Design: Experience with designing and implementing test tools for automation.
