We are currently looking for a Senior C&S Engineer to join the team based in Birchwood Park, Warrington.
Key responsibilities
Deliver structural engineering design within a regulated or complex engineering environment.
Develop and check structural engineering deliverables in accordance with applicable standards, procedures, and technical specifications.
Undertake structural analysis, assessment, and verification of new and existing structures.
Apply relevant codes and standards (e.g. Eurocodes, BS standards, nuclear-specific standards where applicable).
Assess structural integrity, load paths, stability, and serviceability considerations.
Identify, record and manage technical risks, assumptions, and constraints.
Support design reviews, independent checking, and technical assurance processes.
Requirements
Experience working within multi-disciplinary engineering teams and interfacing with other disciplines (e.g. mechanical, EC&I, project management).
Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Relevant structural engineering experience commensurate with a senior engineer role.
Ability to resolve complex technical design issues with minimal supervision
Effective communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborative leadership style across multidisciplinary teams
Demonstrates sound professional judgement and commercial awareness
Experience supervising and reviewing the work of others
