Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in PTC Creo to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of practical experience in Creo, along with a basic understanding of Presales activities and Design Automation.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing 3D models, assemblies, engineering drawings, and supporting customer requirements through technical discussions, product demonstrations, and automation-related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and optimize 3D models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings using PTC Creo.
- Work on complex part modeling, assembly design, detailing, and drawing generation.
- Apply engineering design standards, GD&T principles, and best practices.
- Support design automation initiatives using Creo capabilities and related automation tools.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to automate repetitive design tasks and improve engineering productivity.
- Provide basic technical support for presales activities, including product demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Understand customer requirements and assist in proposing suitable Creo-based solutions.
- Collaborate with sales, presales, and technical teams to support customer engagements.
- Troubleshoot design-related issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Maintain proper documentation of models, drawings, and technical deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with PTC Creo.
- Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, assembly design, detailing, and 2D drawing creation.
- Good understanding of GD&T and mechanical engineering drawing standards.
- Basic knowledge of design automation concepts and workflows.
- Basic understanding of presales activities, technical presentations, or customer interactions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Creo customization, scripting, or automation tools.
- Familiarity with CAD automation, design configuration, or repetitive task automation.
- Experience supporting technical demonstrations, customer discussions, or presales engagements.
- Experience in engineering services, CAD/CAM, or product design environments.
Joining Requirements
- Immediate joiners preferred.
- Candidates who can join at short notice will be given preference.
