Mobile gaming creative is at an inflection point—AI is reshaping production, creative volume has become a competitive moat, and the winners are building systematic approaches to creative strategy. At Playvalve, we're capitalizing on this shift. We have 7 games in the US top 100 of their categories, 30M players across 90 countries, and 15 actively promoted titles. Our 4-person marketing team has been handling UA-based creative production at this scale through pure efficiency, but we need to evolve beyond that model to keep scaling. We're a Barcelona-based studio of ~40 with a 10X mindset, meetingless by design, optimizing for impact over headcount. We're hiring a Creative Producer to build our creative department from the ground up—to architect how creative strategy, production, and intelligence scale with our portfolio and the industry's evolution.
What You'll Build & OwnCreative Strategy & Intelligence
- Develop Playvalve's creative strategy across our portfolio—understanding what concepts drive performance, how creative patterns differ by game/audience, and where opportunities exist
- Build systematic competitive analysis processes—understanding market trends, creative patterns, opening/closing scene mechanics that drive performance
- Establish creative intelligence infrastructure: how we capture learnings, apply insights, and stay ahead of industry shifts
- Develop upper funnel creative strategy including ASO production frameworks and Custom Product Pages (CPPs) that complement UA efforts
- Define what data we need to inform creative decisions and how to get it (concept Share of Voice by OS/network/app, creative type performance, attribution clarity)
- Translate analytics into creative direction: turn ARPDAU anomalies, ROAS trends, and attribution signals into testable creative hypotheses
- Own end-to-end creative production for performance marketing—from brief to delivery—across video ads, playables, static creatives, ASO assets
- Stay hands-on with AI tools to explore possibilities, challenge assumptions, and push the boundaries of what our production can achieve
- Deploy automation to maximize asset orchestration and production efficiency—building leverage into every part of the creative workflow
- Integrate AI tools strategically: understand what works, test applications, document limitations, scale what performs
- Collaborate with our engineering team to build internal creative production tools (gameplay recording systems, playable frameworks, asset generation)
- Continuously optimize the creative production pipeline for efficiency without sacrificing originality
- Craft and expand the organization you need to achieve your goals
- Build the right mix of internal capabilities and external partnerships based on what drives results
- Document processes, frameworks, and learnings so creative intelligence compounds over time
Must-Haves:
✅ Mobile gaming creative experience in puzzle, casual, hyper-casual, or hybrid games
✅ Data-driven approach—you can articulate what data you need and how to turn attribution signals into creative insights
✅ Strategic + hands-on balance—you can architect operations AND stay involved in the work, especially exploring AI tools
✅ Production management across internal teams and external partners while maintaining quality
✅ AI and automation literacy—you've tested tools, implemented automation, and can speak credibly about what works
✅ Technical collaboration skills—comfortable working with engineers to build creative production tools
✅ Business alignment—you speak ROAS, CPI, and eCPM as fluently as concepts and hooks
✅ Industry network—connected in mobile gaming creative circles, gathering intel through peers
Nice to Have:Experience with ASO creative strategy, familiarity with AppsFlyer/Sensor Tower, performance marketing background, track record building creative teams, game engine knowledge.
