About Project Slingshot
Project Slingshot is a global non-profit working to end factory farming through campaigning, storytelling, culture and creative communications. Our work ranges from social content and celebrity partnerships to documentaries, outdoor advertising and global campaigns.
The Role
As part of the creative team, you will help to produce high quality content and assets that effectively communicate with our audiences. We’re looking for an experienced creative editor who can take a body of raw material, understand what’s really there and find the strongest story within it.
You’ll have a point of view on narrative, structure and pace. You’ll spot the moment that changes the work for the better, knowing when an opening isn’t gripping enough, identifying gaps in the story and suggesting what we need to make it stronger.
Sometimes that means shaping a poignant documentary from hours of footage. Other times it means finding the sharpest 30 seconds for social and making every second earn its place.
We’re not looking for someone who waits to be told where the great moments are. We’re looking for someone who finds them.

- Move confidently between documentaries, campaign films, social content, at times with a fast-turnaround Bring a point of view, improve the story and explain editorial decisions clearly and confidently to senior leadership
- Create strong motion graphics, typography and titles in After Effects, while recognising when specialist sound, grade, VFX or motion support will make the work better
- Get under the skin of Project Slingshot and our objectives to help develop an editorial style that feels distinctive, contemporary and difficult to ignore
Requirements
We'd love someone who:
