We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Copywriter to join our creative team. Our ideal candidate blends lateral thinking and high-level creativity with an organized, detail-oriented approach to work. We’re actively engaged with clients ranging from famous B2C names to B2B leaders across tech, finance and healthcare, so flexibility of style (conceptually, and with the written word) is a must.
We also do a lot of work helping clients shape their brand in advance of the creative brief, making fluency in the brand space (narratives, messaging) another important aspect of this role.
- Develop creative concepts and write persuasive copy across media types for projects ranging from big brand campaigns to smaller, more targeted efforts for both B2B and B2C clients
- Craft brands from the ground up through foundational strategic + brand work
- Collaborate with art directors, designers, account team and strategists from kickoff through delivery
- Present creative ideas and concepts to clients and internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in advertising and copywriting
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior copywriters and other team members
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Preferred 4-5 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in an advertising agency setting
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative and effective advertising campaigns (brand work a big plus, mix of B2B and B2C clients another one)
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Experience and aptitude for engaging with clients: pitching the work, building relationships, and fielding feedback through delivery
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in using copywriting tools and software
Location: New York, New York
Salary Range: $90,000 - 115,000
