Prepare statutory financial reporting and support external audits for multiple legal entities. Perform general ledger activities, journal processing, balance sheet and income statement variance analysis, account reconciliations, ledger close activities, and discrepancy resolution. Support payroll, tax, sales, and cost accounting functions while producing management reports and accurate financial data. Collaborate with external auditors, tax auditors, corporate functions, and business finance.

We have an opportunity for a Senior Controllership Analyst to join us at Honeywell Aerospace, in Bucharest, where you will be responsible for the preparation of the financial statutory reporting and the completion of the external financial audit for multiple legal entities.

The Senior Controllership Analyst works closely with key partners such as external auditors (incl. tax auditors), other corporate functions and business finance.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office and 2 days work from home model.

Responsibilities
  • Perform activities for General Ledger
  • Processes and check journals according to the defined procedures and accounting principles and legislation
  • Perform variance analysis of Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts
  • Scans statements, ledgers, and accounts to identify unusual or overdue items and selects the correct procedure to verify or adjust discrepancies or errors
  • Assist finance functions with payroll, tax, sales and/or cost accounting
  • Produces routine reports, schedules, and summaries for management
  • Conduct accounts reconciliation periodically, ledger close activities, and provide accurate financial data to support management in decision making
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Degree in finance or economics (preferably in the field of accounting)
  • 5 Years of experience working as a financial auditor or working as a key contact to external financial auditors within an international matrix organization
  • Fluency (both oral and written) in English.
  • US-GAAP or IFRS Accounting knowledge
  • Excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills
  • Initiative, positive attitude, self-starter, “getting-things-done” and “hands-on” attitude.

Skills Required
