The Project & Opportunity
HumeLink East involves the expansion of the existing Bannaby 500 kV substation, along with the design and construction of 230km of new 500 kV double circuit transmission line. This new transmission line will connect the Bannaby 500 kV substation at the Wondalga interface point with HumeLink West.
For this project, we are looking for a Senior Contracts Administrator to help out the existing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently identify potential opportunities and resolve contractual risks.

  • Strong decision-making skills to make informed decisions based on contract analysis and project requirements.

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, as well as negotiation skills to build strong and effective relationships, and manage and mediate disputes with internal and external stakeholders.

  • High level of integrity in adhering to ethical standards and company policies in all contract management activities.

  • Strong people management skills

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Tertiary qualification in commerce, engineering, law or relevant discipline (Essential)

  • Work Safely in Construction (White Card) (Essential)

  • Demonstrated experience effectively managing claims and disputes (Essential)

  • Experience on major construction projects (Desirable)

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills

  • Detailed knowledge of the Security of Payments Act (SOPA) and other relevant State and Federal laws and regulations
