About the Role:

As a key strategic business partner, the Senior Contracts Administrator will possess extensive contracts and compliance knowledge and experience. This position will be an integral part of the KACE’s legal department. The ideal candidate has experience flourishing in a fast-paced, agile company culture and is a proactive, highly communicative, and organized multitasker. Prior knowledge of and experience with FAR clauses and contract administration (to include drafting, reviewing, and executing non-disclosure agreements, consulting agreements, and teaming agreements) required. Prior knowledge of subcontractor management, Task Order management, and administration of GSA schedules and/or other large GWAC/IDIQ contract vehicles will also be required

What You’ll Do:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage full lifecycle contract administration for the enterprise to include but not limited to drafting non-disclosure agreements, consultant agreements, and teaming agreements 
  • Responsible for contract and subcontract administration, including oversight of contract administration team as the department grows
  • Review contractual terms and conditions for their acceptability, assessing risk and impact
  • Registration management for government contractors
  • Participate in the business development process by analyzing solicitations and providing insight to the Business Development department and corporate executives regarding contractual terms and conditions 
  • Responsible for small business subcontracting reporting and compliance
  • Subject matter expert for strategic sourcing vehicles and GWACs
  • Contractual compliance oversight, including cost-type contract compliance
  • Develop and ensure implementation of contractual and compliance procedures
  • Function as systems owner for contracts and purchasing systems
  • Maintain complete and accurate corporate contract files in accordance with all applicable regulations to facilitate internal administration and audits by outside entities; perform contract close-out procedures 
  • Monitor SCA and Wage Determination updates; ensure price adjustments are developed and submitted in a timely manner with support from the Finance and Operations Departments 
  • Support Corporate’s administration, logistics, and purchasing functions with vendor vetting, agreement development and review, and price negotiation 
  • Serve as SME on FAR, DFAR and other applicable contractual regulations; educate Program Managers and other company personnel on contractual matters
  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledgeable of relevant contractual and regulatory matters
  • Must be able to operate under a degree of autonomy
  • Must be able to directly negotiate contractual matters

Education and Certification:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years with a bachelor’s degree and related experience
  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis
  • Experience with Federal Government Contract required
  • Experience with GSA Schedule contract administration required
  • Experience with SCLS contracts required
  • Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) preferred 

CLEARANCE:

Applicants selected may be subject to a government background investigation and may be required to meet the following conditions of employment.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance
  • Favorable credit check for all cleared positions
  • Successfully passing a background investigation, medical and drug screen.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: 

  • Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility to attend meetings with other managers and employees. 
  • Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 0% - 10% of the time. 
  • Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 0% - 10% of the time. 
  • Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to write, type and use a telephone system 100% of the time. 
  • Sitting: Sitting for prolonged and extended periods of time while monitoring live or taped calls. Ability to leave desk may be restricted when handling live monitoring and translating of calls.
