JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Perform reviews to ensure enterprise and architectural standards and processes are followed. Write advanced complex code for computer systems and serve as a senior source of expertise. Manage system and user acceptance testing cycles to ensure accurate and quality business solutions. Lead the development of technical standards, and perform reviews to ensure enterprise and architectural standards and processes are followed. Serve as a primary technical point of contact for external technology resources. Act as a technology mentor to other engineers. Recommend technical strategy and direction across functional area. Participate in development and evolution of architecture. Consult with stakeholders to find alternative work-around during system outages. Provide design input across a product. Work directly with customers and end users. Serve as acknowledged "go to" person on coding and technical issues. Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements. Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity. Complete complex bug fixes. Design and work with complex data models. Mentor lead software developers on consultancy path on development methodologies and optimization techniques. Seek diverse ideas and perspectives from a variety of sources to create better solutions, products, and services. Perform other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field required.
  • 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.
  • Also required is: 5 years of experience in: IT industry primarily into architecture, design and development using JAVA/J2EE technologies; building architecture roadmap and transforming legacy application to a modern microservices application on cloud with new technologies using domain driven design; building Micro Service applications using SpringBoot, Spring Security, ReactJs, Cassandra Database, Kafka, Redis and EventHub; using MYSQL to write complex queries using different joints, sub queries, and nested queries and fine-tune long-running queries for efficient data retrieva; using Microservice architecture to break down monolith applications into smaller independent parts, with each part having its own responsibility; working knowledge on CI/CD tools and DevOps principles related to cloud computing; designing and delivering cloud solutions using various resources in the Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
  • Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. office in Alpharetta, GA but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.
  • Experience can be concurrent.
