About the Role

Comagine Health is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to provide advanced healthcare consulting services and lead initiatives focused on improving healthcare delivery, strengthening health systems, and advancing health outcomes.

In this role, you will provide strategic consultation and subject matter expertise across healthcare clinical operations, public health, implementation, and quality improvement initiatives. You will lead multiple client engagements and projects, oversee project planning and execution, manage budgets and deliverables, and develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

The Senior Consultant serves as a leading subject matter expert in one or more healthcare disciplines and plays an important role in business development, proposal development, and organizational growth. This position requires a highly experienced professional who can independently lead complex consulting engagements, identify opportunities for improvement, and mentor team members.

This is a remote position. Candidates must reside outside the East Coast region of the United States.

What You’ll DoHealthcare Consulting & Quality Improvement
  • Develop and deliver advanced consulting services across healthcare and community-based environments, managing multiple concurrent client projects.

  • Lead client meetings, workshops, strategic planning sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities.

  • Provide consultation and subject matter expertise in healthcare delivery, clinical operations, public health, health system transformation, and quality improvement.

  • Design, implement, and support health system improvement initiatives that strengthen healthcare delivery and improve outcomes.

  • Lead provider and client engagement, recruitment, and assessment activities.

  • Develop and deliver educational curricula, training programs, learning collaboratives, learning and action networks, and workshops.

  • Collaborate with healthcare organizations and community partners to build capacity and support sustainable improvements in care delivery.

Project Leadership & Management
  • Lead assigned consulting projects and engagements with minimal oversight, ensuring successful execution and client satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain strong, client-focused relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Establish project charters, implementation plans, goals, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Define project scope and objectives in collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

  • Oversee project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure appropriate resource utilization.

  • Monitor project performance, collect and analyze relevant information, and provide timely status reports to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Utilize project management tools to track assignments, milestones, deliverables, and overall project progress.

  • Coordinate project documentation, meeting materials, schedules, and reporting requirements.

  • Provide guidance, specialized expertise, and mentorship to consulting team members.

Business Development & Strategic Growth
  • Lead and contribute to business development initiatives that generate new consulting opportunities and client engagements.

  • Identify opportunities to expand consulting services and strengthen existing client relationships.

  • Represent Comagine Health at professional meetings, industry conferences, and healthcare events.

  • Deliver presentations and participate in speaking engagements as a subject matter expert at local, state, and national conferences.

  • Contribute to proposal development, including consulting approaches, project methodologies, and technical content.

  • Collaborate with internal leadership and business development teams to support organizational growth and strategic priorities.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience may be substituted.

  • 15+ years of experience in healthcare, clinical care delivery, quality improvement, health system transformation, population health, care delivery redesign, public health, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience providing consulting services in the healthcare field.

  • Advanced communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with executives, clients, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.

  • Advanced interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Advanced professionalism, integrity, and reliability.

  • Advanced results orientation and demonstrated ability to deliver successful project outcomes.

  • Advanced critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced self-management skills and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and complex consulting engagements.

No specific licensure or professional certification is required for this position.

Work Environment

This is a remote position available to qualified candidates residing outside the East Coast region of the United States.

The role requires the ability to work independently in a home-based environment while collaborating with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders through virtual communication platforms.

Travel may be required to support client engagements, meetings, conferences, workshops, and other business-related activities.
