Our Delta Operations team is looking for a Data Engineer for our fasts growing activities with our client.
The Senior Data Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust and scalable data pipelines
- Integrate and transform data from multiple sources
- Optimize data processing performance
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and traceability
- Collaborate with technical and business teams
- Contribute to data flow industrialization
- Document implemented solutions
The Senior Consultant - Data Engineer will also have the responsibility to participate to the Delta Accountant club, support and manage Delta initiatives around the Accountant topics.
As an operational consultant, the Senior Consultant - Data Engineer will act as Subject Matter Expert to support other colleagues in case of expertise needs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Have minimum 3–5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Proven experience in building and maintaining data pipelines
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL
- Work hands-on with ETL / ELT tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, Azure Data Factory)
- Use Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
- Leverage cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Understand data architecture principles
- Understand data lakes and data warehouse concepts
- License or Master qualification in Computer Science, Data Engineering or equivalent
- English speaking are mandatory, additional language is considered as an advantage
