Senior Consultant - Allegro Techno Functional

What will you be doing?
As a consultant at capSpire, your role will provide you with considerable challenge, variety and development opportunity in a client-facing environment. You will work as part of a core team delivering exciting and complex programmes for our clients such as power & gas utilities, oil majors, commodity trading houses and brokers. You will be engaging in strategically important client transformation projects based in Europe.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of both business processes and technical implementation related to trading operations, and will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business users to gather and translate requirements into functional and technical specifications for Allegro ETRM.
- Design, configure, and implement solutions on the Allegro platform, ensuring alignment with trading workflows and risk requirements.
- Develop workflows, and reports using .NET c#, Allegro Class Events, and SQL Server.
- Troubleshoot system issues, provide ongoing support, and drive continuous improvements within the Allegro environment.
- Support integration between Allegro and third-party systems
- Assist in testing, training, and deployment activities as part of project delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with traders, risk managers, IT, and external vendors.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a techno-functional consultant working with the Allegro ETRM platform in a consultancy setting.
- Strong domain knowledge of energy or commodities trading (e.g., power, gas, crude, refined products).
- Hands-on experience with Allegro configuration, deal modelling, settlements, risk reporting, and custom development.
- Proficiency in Allegro Class Events, .NET framework (C#), and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience in system integration, data mapping, and business process reengineering.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to travel to client locations as per project requirements.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior involvement in end-to-end Allegro implementation or upgrade projects.
- Exposure to cloud migration or Allegro Horizon platform.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting (e.g., REMIT, EMIR, Dodd-Frank) within an ETRM context.
