Job Description:
Responsible for assessing first-line business processes and controls used to monitor and test for adherence with federal and state regulatory requirements. The role collaborates with management to identify compliance issues and corrective action plans and communicates the scope and severity of concerns identified to the applicable level of management. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. Maintains a high level of awareness and knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
• Brings issues to attention of compliance and business management.
• Inspects documents, records, disclosures, systems, and reports to verify compliance and identify trends or weaknesses in DFS business processes.
• Evaluates business policy, procedure, training, and processes with respect to regulatory requirements.
• Executes enterprise-wide compliance testing program.
• Monitors and tests business action plans established to correct deficiencies.
• Compiles and maintains work papers and supporting documentation of tests and findings.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here's what we need from you:
• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Legal, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in Compliance, Financial Services, Risk, and/or BSA/AML
• In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Testing, Quality Assurance, and/or Audit
Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Testing, Quality Assurance, and/or Audit
• Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist
• Certified Internal Auditor
• Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $65,000.00 to $109,800.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
