The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Community Specialist who is passionate about player engagement, learning creator culture, and social media. This role is focused on the tactical execution and direct support of our community initiatives. You’ll assist the Senior Community Manager in managing our presence across social channels, help build relationships with creators, and support collaborations with marketing leadership and third-party partners (like WeHype) to drive player acquisition and retention.

This is a full-time position where the Senior Community Specialist will work closely with our product, design, and engineering teams to deliver exceptional gaming experience to our customers. What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Video & Content Creation: Create and edit engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) plus memes, contests, and other community assets that drive conversation and growth.

  • Influencer Support: Support the tracking and coordination of small-scale influencer activations, including outreach and materials organization.

  • Cross-Functional Assistance: Coordinate with others in product/marketing/design on basic campaign support, asset requests, and gathering performance reports.

  • Feedback Collection: Collect and organize community feedback and player sentiment to surface to internal teams.

  • Moderation and Engagement: Directly manage and moderate our high-impact Discord communities under the guidance of a senior team member.

  • Reporting: Track and report on key, assigned growth and engagement metrics.

  • Player Support: Serve as the first line of player support, owning Tier 1 community and customer issues with speed and empathy.

  • Brand Voice: Represent the voice of our brand across community channels, acting as a direct advocate for our players.

  • LiveOps Support: Assist with LiveOps communication and support crisis response coordination when needed.

What you Bring to the table:

  • 3-5 years of experience in community management, social media, or a related role—ideally in interactive entertainment, games (mobile preferred; PC & console nice-to-have), or media.

  • Hands-on experience growing engagement on Instagram, TikTok, and/or YouTube Shorts, with demonstrated understanding of platform algorithms, format best practices, and what makes content shareable.

  • Strong video editing and content creation skills—comfortable creating scroll-stopping Reels, TikToks, and short-form video content that drives engagement.

  • Foundational understanding of influencer and creator marketing concepts.

  • Familiarity with creator/influencer culture across Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and beyond.

  • A strong eagerness to learn, a proactive attitude, and a focus on detail.

  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills in English.

  • Comfortable collaborating across teams in a fast-moving, startup-style environment.

  • Passion for mobile entertainment experiences and online communities.

Bonus Points for:

  • Direct experience moderating or contributing to a successful online community.

  • Experience in a relevant user-facing role (e.g., customer support, social media marketing).

  • Experience with community tools, basic analytics, or content planning.

  • Love of pop culture, books (BookTok!), and mobile games.

  • Portfolio of content you've created with strong performance metrics.
