The Role

  • Monthly sales commission and other variable compensation calculations for both internal sales teams and external partners
  • Manage a custom-designed commission module in NetSuite and commissions platform Spiff.com
  • Build and maintain new compensation plans in Spiff.com
  • Liaison between Finance, Sales, and People Operations with respect to commission activity
  • Investigate commission discrepancies, resolution, and mitigation going forward 
  • Liaison and coordinate commission processing with GDC Armenia shared services center team 
  • Prepare, validate, and provide data for commission processing, payroll runs, and any other variable compensation-related activities. 
  • Prepare, validate, and process data related to commission accounting, commission expense, and reconciliation of commissions liabilities, and respond to any other accounting inquiries 
  • Assist in the development of the budget, planning, and other financial requirements.
  • Assist in providing forecasts and analysis of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow on a monthly basis
  • Build and maintain verified sales attainment metrics for executive stakeholders.
  • Respond to inquiries from Sales regarding their commissions
  • Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts and use insights to drive meaningful action and communicate complex issues in a clear and concise way
  • Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances; identifying trends, recommending actions to management

#BeDataDriven: The candidate will be working with large volumes of data and running multiple calculations for both reporting and analytical purposes, enabling SADA to make impactful decisions from a solid base of information

#MakeThemRave: This role will routinely interact with both internal and external stakeholders, including high powered Sales teams, internal leadership, and external partners; our goal is always to make our stakeholders a priority and exceed their expectations 

Onboarding/Training - The first several weeks of onboarding are dedicated to learning and will encompass learning materials/assignments and compliance training, as well as meetings with relevant individuals. Details of the timeline are shared closer to the start date. 


  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in FP&A, commissions accounting and/or commission or compensation analysis
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Statistics or related quantitative field 

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Experience working with large datasets, automation, or business intelligence skills
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to coordinate diverse information, identify relevant data, recommend and implement corrective actions
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels and all functional areas, understanding and presenting the viewpoints of others

  • Experience in commissions and sales compensation
  • Familiarity with commissions system software, ideally Spiff.com
  • Proficient knowledge of data query/data management tools 
  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Familiarity with basic accounting skills such as journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Ability to master new systems and applications quickly
