Responsibilities
- Lead the drafting, negotiation, structuring and management of commercial and technology contracts across the Titan Group, including outsourcing, IT services, Cloud, SaaS, AI, software licensing, data processing and Intragroup Agreements.
- Identify and mitigate legal, regulatory and data protection risks across the Group, including compliance with FCA requirements, EBA Guidelines and DORA, and maintain third party supplier management policies and procedures.
- Draft and maintain contract precedent templates and associated guidance material, and provide training to internal teams on commercial contracts and regulatory developments.
- Act as legal lead on AI-related initiatives, including AI supplier engagements, internal AI projects, the AI governance framework and identifying opportunities for AI within the legal team's operating model.
- Oversee registration, protection and management of the international Trade Marks portfolio.
- Lead the Intragroup Agreements programme, including framework design, drafting, negotiation and execution.
- Deliver tailored legal advice to central functions including Marketing, Operations, Finance, Facilities, Property, Compliance and IT.
- Manage and oversee external legal counsel relationships, ensuring high-quality legal support in line with budgetary requirements.
Critical Skills and Experience required
- Significant in-house experience drafting, negotiating and managing large-scale technology, AI and commercial contracts across multiple jurisdictions, including engagements with start-ups.
- Strong academic credentials with a proven track record in commercial contracts within regulated financial services, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic, commercially minded and self-motivated, with strong communication, analytical, drafting and negotiation skills and the ability to work autonomously and manage junior team members.
Qualifications (Essential & Desirable)
- 6+ years PQE in commercial contracts within a regulated financial services organisation, preferably FinTech.

- Internal: Senior Management, Business Units, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Facilities, Property, Compliance, IT, Procurement, Vendor Management, International Offices. External: External Legal Counsel, Third Party Suppliers and Vendors, Regulatory Bodies.
FCA requirements TCF/RCR
- Adhere to all FCA regulations including EBA Guidelines.
- To highlight to your line manager procedures & processes that do not adhere to the principles of TCF/RCR and to put forward suggestions that improve the TCF/RCR practices within the department.
Skills Required
- 6+ years PQE in commercial contracts
- In-house experience with technology and AI contracts
- Strong communication, analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills
